... Or it's just a regular day. You're minding your own business when you run into a familiar face. Or several. Or perhaps it's a perfect stranger. Maybe you stepped through a strange portal and found yourself in a mysterious, brand new city. That's familiar, isn't it?

At least you can leave. The portal's still there, and it won't be closing any time soon. One thing is obvious though, from your arrival: There's a large banner announcing,

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SURVIVAL OR REVIVAL! ENJOY YOUR TIME HERE.

... Well, okay. If you choose to explore, you'll find certain buildings scattered around. They take the form of various locations. There's a space ship, a hospital, a space manor, a school, a vault, a haunted hotel... The possibilities are endless, just like murdergames.

That's familiar, isn't it? It's probably fine. Aside from those locations, there are far less traumatizing ones: malls, different shops, basically anything you can imagine. It's a pretty big city, after all.

Oh, and if you're curious enough to enter the city hall, you'll find, conveniently, a binder full of profiles. Some of them might be familiar. They're from your time in a killing game, after all. You're free to rip them out--they won't re-materialize or anything. ]

[ There's a bit of annoyance in Rei's voice as she seems to glower at the fact that her hypnotism is out in the open yet again!! How is she supposed to make friends like this? Not to mention that banner is a little disturbing. ]

[Okay, it's been 7 months since he got to move to Pensee with his adoptive sister, his pet deerling, and Ray, so Zack's picked up on some words he can actually read by now.]

[He sounds skeptical. Is this another murdergame? This sure looks like how his started: sunshine and rainbows for one week, then the whole murder thing is sprung up on you the next.]

Of course, Hakua's never had one. Not really, anyway, but Zange... but it's because she knows what this is that she immediately turns right the fuck around and bolts. Nope, she's not dealing with this. Nope, this was not her idea.

She bets someone's going to come after her after seeing her face, but she is literally not here to either get beaten up or yelled at because this has nothing to do with her. ]

[ She absolutely knew it! And it's because she's being threatened with being kicked - even if it is just once that she visibly panics to the point where Hakua finds herself shrieking slightly but she doesn't say anything.

[ After wandering for a bit, Hiling decides to step inside a cafe. She cares a lot more about getting a drink and sitting down than what's in it, so she just points to something on the menu and has it made. There's a spot by the window. The window however is partially fogged up. She can't see much outside unless a person is standing next to it. There's a person there now and she's drawing a face or ears and a tail around them in the condensation. Anything she can think of for her own amusement. ]

[Oooooooooooooooookie-dokie this is weird. It's been 7 months since she took back her adoptive older brother, Ray, and his pet deerling back with them after everything that murdergame was. She's been super busy running the shop with Tear, and getting the Zange temple set up and running, and making sure Zack was settling into being an adventurer, and catching up on eating all the sweets she missed, and other important stuff!

Speaking of which. You know what one does when there in an unfamiliar area and are an enterprising shop keeper who got picked up on the way back from a dungeon with your pack full of stuff?

You set up shop.

Which is why an makeshift shop has been set up near city hall. The tables are cardboard boxes as well as the sign, but just manages to look quaint instead of stupid somehow. The cheap cardboards contrasts with the gear, loot, and other goodies set on top of it all. The Sign reads Recettear - here in this dimension for a limited time only! (maybe, probably.) Will accept trades for things from other worlds!]

Yayness! Recettear is open for business! Again! Capitalism, ho!
